Electrical Fittings Repair in Dubai

Electrical fittings repair is a licensed activity on our Dubai DET trade licence, covering faulty sockets and switches, light fitting replacement, tripping circuits, and repair or replacement of fixed electrical accessories in villas, apartments and commercial units. Work touching the incoming supply, the meter or the main distribution board requires a DEWA-enrolled contractor and is outside this activity.

What the work covers

The full scope we carry out under electrical repair. Anything outside this list is quoted separately rather than added to your invoice after the fact.

Not included

  • Any work on the incoming supply, the meter or the main distribution board — this requires DEWA contractor enrolment
  • New circuits or rewiring, which is electromechanical installation work
  • Appliance internals — we repair the connection, not the appliance
  • Socket, switch and accessory replacement
  • Light fitting repair and replacement, including recessed and track fittings
  • Diagnosing a circuit that trips, and repairing the fault causing it
  • Extractor fan, water heater and appliance connection faults
  • Emergency and exit lighting fitting replacement

What people call us about

If any of these describe your situation, you are in the right place. Describing the symptom is enough; you do not need to know the cause.

A socket or switch that has stopped working, or is warm to the touch

A breaker that trips as soon as it is reset

Lights flickering on one circuit but not others

Burning smell from a fitting — treated as an emergency

An extractor fan or water heater that has no power

Electrical repair questions, answered

Straight answers with numbers in them. If the honest answer is that you do not need the work, we will say that too.

Can you work on my distribution board or meter?

No, and you should be careful of anyone who offers to. Work touching the supply, the meter, circuits or the main board requires company-level DEWA contractor enrolment. We will tell you when a job falls into that category rather than proceeding.

Is a burning smell from a socket an emergency?

Yes. Switch the circuit off at the board and call the emergency line. We treat it as a P1 and respond within 30 to 60 minutes.
